LANCASTER − As the final days of the old Lancaster High School wind down, the community will be left with nothing but memories.
Students and staff this fall will move into the new high school adjacent to the old one. The old building will get torn down and its space will become a parking lot.
Principal Scott Burre said the staff has to be out of the old building by May 29. He said much of the summer will consist of moving into the new building.
Burre will have the distinction of being the principal of both the old school building and the new one.
The school district plans to host an open house for the public before the new building opens. Check back to www.lancastereaglegazette.com for more details as they become available.
