A 42-year-old North Canton man has been identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on the night of May 30 north of Hartville.
Louis A. Dimondo II was pronounced dead at 9:36 p.m. at Summa Health Akron, Gary Guenther, chief investigator for the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office, wrote in an email.
Deputies from the Stark County Sheriff’s Office responded around 8:58 p.m. to the one-vehicle crash on state Route 43 between Andrews Street NE and Manning Road.
Preliminary findings indicate the southbound motorcycle crossed left of center, failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway, authorities said.
The Sheriff’s Office and Canton Metro Crash Team are investigating.
