Community members in the surrounding area may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles and first responders during the exercise but shouldn’t worry because it’s a drill.

The exercise is part of the district and city’s ongoing commitment to school safety and emergency preparedness.

APS and the city are sharing this information in advance to help keep the community informed and avoid confusion related to emergency response activity in the area.
