Twenty-nine members of Sebring McKinley High School’s Class of 2026 received their diplomas May 31 during a commencement ceremony in the school’s gymnasium.
The students were honored during an event held in front of the huge Trojans logo painted on a wall in the gym.
Mia Somerville was the class valedictorian and addressed her classmates. Salutatorian was Alayna Braham, who also spoke.
Toni Viscounte, superintendent of Sebring Local Schools, took part in her final commencement ceremony before her retirement Aug. 1. She gave the event’s welcome speech and also certified the class for graduation after Principal Brian Clark presented the class for their diplomas.
Also taking part in the event were Kristal Giron Perez, class secretary, who led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Diplomas were handed out by members of the Sebring Local Board of Education.
