Moeller High School hosted a groundbreaking ceremony at its Kremchek Stadium on May 27.
Kremchek Stadium, the home of the baseball Crusaders, recognized the gift from Dr. Timothy Kremchek that will allow for new grandstands that seat 300 fans as well as better press and broadcasting abilities.
“From the beginning, the vision for this stadium was always bigger than dirt and turf,” Kremchek said. “The first phase gave us a field, but over time it became clear that to truly elevate the experience for our players, families and community, we needed more seating, gathering spaces, atmosphere, and the energy that makes a ballpark feel special. It’s about creating a place where families gather, alumni stay connected, and future generations of Moeller baseball players feel proud to compete.”
The construction will begin as soon as possible and will be completed before the next spring season.
