2 dead after double stabbing on Columbus East Side

Two people are dead following a double stabbing on May 27 on Columbus’ Southeast Side.

The stabbing was reported at around 7:19 p.m. May 19 in the 2900 block of Chatsworth Way, according to a Columbus police dispatcher. The incident occurred in the Independence Village residential subdivision, approximately between Chatsworth Court and Centennial Drive, south of Tussing Road and northeast of Gender Road.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:22 p.m., and a second person was pronounced dead at 7:23 p.m., according to the dispatcher.

The dispatcher could not provide any additional information, including anything regarding a suspect. Police have blocked off roads in the area, the dispatcher said.
