Meet Brutus: This week’s adoptable dog from the Marion County Dog Pound.
Brutus is a long-legged three-year-old mixed breed. He’s been patiently waiting for his turn for love.
This young man is a gentleman on the leash and his caretakers described him as “calm, sweet and wonderfully good-natured.” Best of all, he’s the perfect height for easy pets and snuggles.
Being only three years old, Brutus is still playful and active, but seemingly past the puppy chaos. He’s truly the best of both worlds.
Brutus would make a great addition to a new family. He’s open to meeting other dogs and teenagers who can be gentle and respectful of his space. Children are too overwhelming for him.
To meet Brutus or any of the other dogs at the Marion County Dog Pound, stop by in person at 2252 Richland Road or give the pound a call at 740-386-6150. The pound is open 12-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 12-4 p.m. Saturdays.
