A Medina woman has won $100,000 from the Ohio Lottery.
The woman, whose full name was not released by the lottery, earned her winnings on the Ohio Lottery Cash Explosion show.
The winnings came over two appearances on the weekly Ohio Lottery TV gameshow on April 11 and April 18.
After mandatory state and federal taxes, the winner received $73,250.
The Medina resident told lottery officials that she plans to pay off a car and add a brick veneer to the family home
She also wants to travel out West to pan for gold.
The winner said she has been trying to be on the show for some 30 years.
The winning ticket to appear on the show was sold at the EZ Shop Food Mart on Norwalk Road.
