OSNABURG TWP. ‒ An 83-year-old man died following a house fire Sept. 13 in the 2700 block of Sunlight Avenue NE, the Stark County Sheriff’s Office said.
Gene Miller was found in the residence at 2701 Sunlight and taken to Aultman Hospital in Canton where he was later pronounced dead.
No one else was at the home at the time of the fire, which is not considered suspicious, authorities said.
The Osnaburg Township Fire Department, other departments and the Ohio Division of State Fire Marshal were at the scene. The Fire Department was called at 5:13 p.m.
Further details were not immediately released.
The investigation is continuing, the Sheriff’s Office said.
