Ohio State has received kickoff times for the rest of its 2026 nonconference football schedule.
It is to open against Ball State at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 5 and face Kent State at 12 p.m. Sept. 19, according to an announcement from the Big Ten.
The Big Ten Network will air the Buckeyes’ season opener, and FOX will carry their final nonconference game.
It will be the first time since 2023 that Ohio State won’t have a nonconference home game in prime time.
The Buckeyes’ anticipated trip to Texas, which falls on Sept. 12 between the games against the Mid-American Conference schools and completes a home-and-home series between the blue bloods, previously drew a 7:30 p.m. kickoff. It will be on ABC.
Most of the kickoff times for the Buckeyes’ Big Ten games remain to be determined. Only their game against Michigan, which will be played at noon on Nov. 28 and air on FOX, has had a kickoff time finalized.
In its latest announcement, the conference said the Buckeyes’ homecoming game against Maryland on Oct. 10 will be held sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., though no official kickoff time or network assignment has been set.
