We are a damn great country
I have celebrated many birthdays in the decades of my life, but none happier than the birthday of our country.
Our country is truly a land of opportunity and hope. We allow everyone no matter their social or economic status, or country of origin to accomplish anything that their drive, ingenuity and creativity can take them.
Although we aren’t a perfect country and can’t claim Canada or Greenland as our 51st and 52nd states, we are a damn great place to live and, in my eyes, still the beacon of hope for all of the world.
