I-70 west reopens after crash on Columbus' Near East Side

Interstate 70 west reopened early in the morning June 18 after a crash on Columbus’ Near East Side.

The crash closed I-70 west at the Interstate 71 interchange just east of downtown Columbus before 6 a.m., according to a live traffic map maintained by the Ohio Department of Transportation. Traffic cameras showed significant traffic in the area.

The roadway reopened by 7:30 a.m.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone was injured.
