The Lytle & Pfisterer men’s clothing store was accessible only by rowboat during the aftermath of the 1913 flood in Fremont, as seen in this newspaper photo in front of 107 S. Front Street. Pfisterer’s moved to other locations, but the iconic downtown Lytle family business was at this address from about 1905 to 1979. (Submitted by Larry Michaels and Krista Michaels)
