Baseball and softball regular season games took place as teams either made up games or finished off their schedule.
In boys’ volleyball, Chillicothe saw its season end.

Saturday
Westfall 14, Chillicothe 4: Nate Wolfe went 4-for-5 with two doubles, a run and five RBIs. Cory Green went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs and three RBIs. Kaiden Adams went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI. Brendan Biegler was 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBIs. Connor Geer was 2-for-5 with a triple, a run, an RBI and a stolen base. Brenden Tuttle had a run and Jaden Towler had three runs. For Chillicothe, Vincent Haler went 1-for-2 with a run. TJ Barr had two runs and Jack Oyer had one run.
Huntington 7, Paint Valley 1: Landon Lowery went 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI. Matthew Jordan went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI. Brayden Elliott had a complete game, giving up no earned runs, four walks and striking out 11. Seth Throckmorton went 2-for-4 with two runs. Junior McDonald went 1-for-3 with a double and a run. For Paint Valley, Willy Wheaton had the RBI and Brennen Ison had the run.
Friday
Paint Valley 5, Wellston 0: Owen Donahue had a complete game, giving up three hits, two walks and striking out six. He was also 2-for-3 with an RBI. Jase Rinehart went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI. Carson Free was 1-for-2 with a run and an RBI. WIlly Wheaton was 1-for-3 with a run.
Lunchburg-Clay 4, Unioto 8: Jaxon Zickafoose went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two runs. Keegan Snyder was 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and an RBI. Blake Sanders got the win, going six innings, giving up four runs, four walks and striking out five. Jack Welch went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. KB Perkins was 1-for-4 with a double and a run. Waverly 2, Wheelersburg 3: In the bottom of the 10th inning, the Pirates had a walk-off win against the Tigers. Landon Remy was 3-for-4 with a run. Lane Bear scored the other run and Mason Sparks had the two RBIs.
Westfall 3, Fairfield Union 9: AJ Pluta went 1-for-3 with a run. Jaden Towler went 1-for-3 with a run and two RBIs. Trent Gardner had an RBI. Caleb Lowe had a run.
Softball
Friday
Adena 8, Piketon 6: Kelsea Brown went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run. Addy Cottrill got the win, pitching five innings, giving up nine hits, four earned runs and one strikeout. She also went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Allie Bossert got the save, pitching one inning, giving up three hits, no runs and had one strikeout. Adelynn Nelson went 1-for-3 with a run and walk. Lexi Pettit went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a walk. For Piketon, Addy Blakeman went 3-for-3 with two runs. Aubrey Heath went 2-for-4 with a double and a run. Kyndall Carroll went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs.
Unioto 4, Zane Trace 2: Kendal Walker had a complete game, giving up one earned run, and striking out six. Macie Cox went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Mackenzie Paugh and Mackenzie Eisel each went 2-for-4 with a double. For Zane Trace, Maddison Will went 2-for-4 with two runs. Haylynn Boggess-Pierce and Aubree Thomas each went 1-for-4 with a stolen base.
Southeastern 2, Fairfield 1: Kylie Williams had a complete game with one earned run and 10 strikeouts. She was also 1-for-3 at the plate. Jade Turner went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Lydia Williams was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Ally Fisher had a run.
Boys volleyball
The Chillicothe Cavaliers’ season ended Thursday after a loss to Mt. Vernon in the district final 3-0 (25-19, 25-14, 25-23). The Cavs finish the season with a program-best 21-3 record, a second league title, numerous league and region All-Stars, and graduating 11 seniors.
