Bluegrass show slated for Feb. 20
The Pennyroyal Opera House will host a bluegrass show Feb. 20 featuring The David Parmley Band, which has earned widespread acclaim for its dynamic performances, tight harmonies, and dedication to both tradition and innovation. David Parmley has been inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame as a founding member of The Bluegrass Cardinals.
Old Hometown will be the opening band performing at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 for those age 13 and older.
Strings of Green to perform Feb. 21
The award-winning bluegrass band Strings of Green will perform at 3 p.m. Feb. 21, at the Ohio Valley Opry. The band won the 2026 Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America band contest, which highlights them as one of bluegrass music’s rising stars. The show will also include Ohio Valley Opry performers. Tickets are available online at www.ohiovalleyopry.com or by calling 740-525-9218. Those age 12 and younger are admitted for free.
