ODOT starting Ohio 93 projects
COSHOCTON − The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced Ohio 93 will be closed for culvert replacement on May 21 from Ohio 541 to Township Road 145. The suggested detour is Ohio 93 to Ohio 541 to Ohio 16 to Ohio 83 to Ohio 93 and reverse for the other direction.
Ohio 93 will be closed for 75 days for a landslide repair starting May 26 from Township Road 145 to Ohio 662. The suggested detour is Ohio 93 to Ohio 541 to Ohio 16 to Ohio 83 to Ohio 93 and reverse for the other direction.

COSHOCTON − Coshocton County Youth Leadership recently held its Class of 2026 graduation ceremony at the M Event Centre at the Coshocton KOA Holiday Campground.

Daryl Dilly joins VSO
COSHOCTON − Daryl Dilly has been hired as an administrative assistant at the Coshocton County Veterans Service Office. The 1996 graduate of Ridgewood High School served in the U.S. Air Force from 2001 to 2023, ending his career as a first sergeant. He’s a member of American Legion Post 65.
Opportunity School having graduation
COSHOCTON − The Coshocton Opportunity School is having a commencement ceremony at 6 p.m. May 21 in the auditorium of Coshocton High School, 1205 Cambridge Road. There are 24 graduate.
JH Museum having summer youth programming
COSHOCTON − Summer programming for youth will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Fridays from May 29 to July 3 at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum, 300 N. Whitewoman St. The theme is Make it Like the Past and will feature discovery of how people long ago used natural materials to create baskets, pottery, cloth and more. Through hands-on activities like weaving, painting symbols and crafting; kids will explore how humans lived, created and shared stories across time. Sessions are for ages 3 to 5 and 6 to 12 at $6 per child, or $1 per week. Register online at jhmuseum.org/summer or call the museum at 740-622-8710. This coincides with other summer youth programming at the Coshocton Public Library, Clary Gardens, Roscoe Village and the Pomerene Center for the Arts.

● National Alliance on Mental Illness Family Support Group of Coshocton County will meet in regular session from 7 to 8:30 p.m. May 18 at AllWell, 710 Main St. Guest speaker will be nurse Jamie Butler, specializing in mental health and addiction.
● Coshocton Opportunity School Governing Board will meet in regular session at 11:30 a.m. May 18 at the Warehouse Restaurant, 400 N. Whitewoman St.
● Coshocton County Regional Planning Commission full board will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. May 18 in the meeting room of the Coshocton County Engineer’s Office, 23194 County Road 621.
● West Lafayette Village Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. May 27 in council chambers, 115 E. Railroad St. This is moved due to Memorial Day. All committees meetings are prior at 5:30 p.m.
