Dogwood Concerts set
COSHOCTON − The Pomerene Center for the Arts is presenting the 41st annual Dogwood Lunch Concerts at noon daily May 4-7 at the Coshocton artPARK, 325 Main St. Grilled cheese sandwiches will be served for $10.
Performing will be the Coshocton High School jazz band and choir on May 4, Ridgewood High School jazz band May 5, River View High School Jazz Band and Caribbean Drum, and Certified Gold ensembles May 6 and Ridgewood High School choirs will sing May 7.
75-day closure for landslide repairs
COLUMBUS − Beginning May 26, ODOT will close Ohio 93 between Coshocton Township Road 145 and Ohio 662 for 75 days, for landslide repairs.
National Day of Prayer event planned
COSHOCTON − National Day of Prayer will be recognized at 6 p.m. May 7, on the Coshocton Court Square. Individuals will stand around the court square facing different directions and say prayers from a list of prayer topics. One may bring a lawn chair. Prayer lists will be available at the gazebo from Pastor Joe Sanders. Closing ceremony starts at 6:45 p.m. at the gazebo, following the prayer period.
Community carnival being held
COSHOCTON − A community carnival hosted by Sacred Hearth Catholic School will be from noon to 3 p.m. May 9, at 39 Burt Ave. Proceeds will go toward classroom supplies and spring field trips. There will be free games, a live auction, food and more.
Church offering Mother’s Day photos
COSHOCTON − A free 8×10 photo for Mother’s Day will be offered during 10:30 a.m. services May 10, at Crossroads Baptist Church, 23247 County Road 621. Photos will be available for pickup the following Sunday. For more information, call 740-908-4311 or visit ohiocrossroads.org.
