Northeast Ohio is full of quality fishing options, with Lake Erie, Summit Lake, the Cuyahoga River and the Nimisila Reservoir to name a few.
For local residents who have been fishing their entire lives or for those new to the sport, the Ohio Division of Wildlife has announced free fishing days over Father’s Day weekend, June 14 and 15.
That means Ohio residents can fish during those two days without a license. Otherwise, you can purchase an annual license online at Ohio Department of Natural Resource’s (ODNR) website for $25.
Kids under 16 are able to fish without purchasing a license.
