Greenwich woman dies in single-vehicle crash in Ashland County

CLEAR CREEK TOWNSHIP – A Greenwich woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on June 21.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, which occurred near the intersection of Ohio 545 and Township Road 856, within Clear Creek Township of Ashland County.

Britany A. Bikauskas, 38, of Greenwich, was operating a 2009 white Buick LaCrosse, south on Ohio 545. The initial investigation revealed that Bikauskas was traveling south on 545, went off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, and went off the roadway to the left, before her vehicle overturned. Bikauskas was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from her vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene, according to a news release.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by Ashland County Sheriff’s Office, Ashland Fire Division, Savannah Volunteer Fire Company, and 3 Sons Towing & Recovery.
