Graeter’s Ice Cream is celebrating its 155th anniversary and National Ice Cream Month with bonus flavors and summer drinks.
The local chain announced on July 1 that it will soon release two new bonus flavors, Pineapple Passion Fruit Sorbet and Minty Brownie, a nod to Graeter’s bake shop-inspired flavor series.
According to a press release, the bonus flavors will launch throughout the month and will be available for a limited time only in scoop shops and online.
The ice cream chain has introduced a new line of handcrafted summer drinks as well, available in scoop shops through Aug. 31. The lineup includes black raspberry, strawberry, and pineapple sippers, and blue raspberry, cherry lime, and pineapple paradise frozen drinks.
Graeter’s is also rolling out its popular seasonal flavors, including Peach ice cream, available all month long, and Key Lime Pie ice cream, available starting July 18.
“There’s no better way to celebrate summer than with a scoop of handcrafted ice cream or a refreshing summer drink,” owner Chip Graeter said in the release. “National Ice Cream Month is one of our favorite times of year to connect with the families we serve and introduce exciting new flavors our fans will love.”
In addition to the summer menu lineup, Graeter’s will also offer $1.55 single-dip sugar cones from Friday, July 18, through Sunday, July 20, in celebration of National Ice Cream Day. This deal is exclusively for Sweet Rewards Loyalty program members.
Customers are also invited to participate in Graeter’s annual coloring contest during National Ice Cream Month, available now in all scoop shops. Children who submit a completed coloring sheet will receive a free scoop of ice cream, per the release.
