The start of the 2025 season has gotten off to about as good a start as it possibly could thus far. The Buckeyes took care of then No. 1 Texas to reclaim the top spot as defending College Football Playoff national champions. Ryan Day’s club then took advantage of playing Grambling State and Ohio University to work out some kinks and let an array of new players get acclimated to new offensive and defensive schemes. After starting the season at 3-0, the Ohio State football team will get a week of rest before heading to the Pacific Northwest to take on the Washington Huskies.
We now know what time that game will kick off. Toe will meet leather at 3:30 ET when the Buckeyes face off against the Huskies in Seattle. It really seems like the only logical time for the game to start, unlike our friends and Michigan State, who get an 11 p.m. ET start time when they head to Los Angeles to play USC.

The game couldn’t be a Big Noon Kickoff on the West Coast, which would be a 9 a.m. ET start time in the state of Washington. And there was no way any network was going to put Ohio State in anything other than a prime TV viewing spot. So the game will be aired on CBS during its 3:30 p.m. time slot.
This will be the first time the Buckeyes have faced Washington since 2019, when Ohio State took down the Huskies 28-23 in the Rose Bowl behind a three-touchdown performance from quarterback Dwayne Haskins. It will be the first time the Bucks have traveled to the University of Washington since 2007. Ohio State won that game 33-14.
