LANCASTER — A 19-year-old Heath man was transported to Columbus with critical injuries after falling from Mount Pleasant on April 16.
According to Lancaster Fire Chief Slade Shultz, emergency personnel were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. on a report of an injured male. The police located the man on the Fair Avenue side of the park.

Shultz said paramedics provided treatment to the unresponsive man and then transferred care to an Airvac flight crew. He was flown to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
According to the Lancaster Police Department, the man was outside of the marked trails when he accidentally fell.
