Port Huron, MI – Lake Huron Medical Center (LHMC) is proud to recognize Alex Moore,
Public Safety Office – Security, as the April WOW Employee of the Month.
Alex, who joined the team in July 2023, was nominated by a fellow employee for his quick
response and compassionate care during a recent incident at the hospital’s main entrance. When
a visitor tripped and fell, Alex acted immediately – assisting her safely into a wheelchair and
ensuring she was transported to the Emergency Department for further evaluation.
Throughout the experience, Alex remained calm, supportive, and engaged, helping to ease the
visitors’ anxiety with friendly conversation and reassurance.
“Alex’s actions reflect the kind of teamwork, compassion, and dedication we strive for every day
at Lake Huron Medical Center,” said Chris Fulks, Interim CEO and Reginal CFO of Lake
Huron Medical Center. “He went above and beyond to ensure this patient felt safe and cared
for during a stressful moment.”
