Right-hander Logan Henderson (4-1, 3.05) starts for the Brewers opposite right-hander Landen Roupp (7-8, 3.93) for the Giants.
Before the game, infielder Braden Shewmake cleared waivers and elected free agency. He had been designated for assignment on July 24 when David Hamilton was reinstated from the injured list.
