Families fighting at the Hamilton County Courthouse on Feb. 24 drew a large police response and resulted in multiple charges.
Two groups of people at the courthouse for a hearing had a confrontation inside prompting police and sheriff’s deputies to respond to help courthouse staff, according to spokeswoman Kyla Woods.
Enquirer media partner Fox 19 reported that the fight was between the families of Latrelle Rogers and Edwin Arlington. Rogers pleaded guilty to manslaughter in 17-year-old Arlington’s death.
The situation was handled quickly, Wood said, and there was no continuing threat to the public.
Woods said multiple people were cited for disorderly conduct as a result of the disturbance.
No further information about the incident has been released.
