The Fairfield County Engineer’s Office said the following roads will be closed for the dates listed below:
Coonpath Road NE (CR 31) will be closed on April 20 through May 15. This closure will take place on Coonpath Road NE, between Lancaster Thornville Road (SR 188) and Darfus Road NE. Construction will take place between the addresses of 2991 and 3095 Coonpath Road NE.
Carroll-Eastern Road NW (CR 21) will be closed on April 20 through May 15. This closure will take place on Carroll Eastern Road NW, between Sheets Road NW and Burchey Rd NW. Construction will take place between the intersection of Carroll-Eastern RD NW/Sheets Rd NW and 1460 Carroll-Eastern Road NW.
Donate pet supplies
The local Menards home improvement store is again serving as a drop site for a local Humane Association through May 31,
Menards offers a wide variety of pet supplies that will be donated to a Humane Association, including food, treats, feeders, collars, beds, storage containers, mats and so much more that can be found in the Pet & Wildlife Department for immediate donation.
There is a large collection box near the exit doors at Menards to place donations.
Meetings
The Village of Carroll Finance Committee will meet at 7 p.m. April 13, at the municipal building, 68 Center Street. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss water and sewer rates and any other business brought before the committee.
Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 3307.353, the Liberty Union-Thurston Local School District Board of Education gives notice that Renee Mangette, Middle School PE teacher, will retire under the State Teachers Retirement System, effective at the end of the school year and is seeking employment with this Board thereafter in the same position. The board will hold a public hearing just prior to the regular board meeting at 7 p.m.May 11, in the District Office Board Room located at 1108 South Main Street, Baltimore.
