An investigation is underway after a driver was killed in a crash in Winton Hills Monday night, according to Cincinnati fire officials.
The crash happened in the 4800 block of Spring Grove Avenue shortly before 11 p.m. May 18, said Fire Captain Kenneth Lemaster.
When fire crews arrived, they found the driver trapped inside an SUV with heavy front-end damage.
They quickly extricated the driver, but the person succumbed to life-threatening injuries at the scene, according to Lemaster.
At that point, the scene was turned over to the Cincinnati Police Department to investigate the cause of the crash.
