A new superintendent was named and a new roll for the current superintendent was announced at the Chippewa Board of Education meeting Monday, May 12.
Tim Adams, current principal at Chippewa Junior/Senior High School, was named superintendent effective Aug. 1.
Todd Osborn will step down from the superintendent’s position July 31, but wll continue serving the district as a consultant through July 31, 2026, according to a new release from the district.
Osborn will report to the board and assist with key district initiatives.
He will oversee the addition and remodeling project at Chippewa Intermediate School and lead the district’s collaboration with the Athletic Boosters on a new athletic training facility and locker rooms at Serpentini Stadium in Memorial Park, according to the release.
He also will help prepare for contract negotiations, with certified and classified agreements set to expire in June 2026.
In addition, Osborn will play a role in mentoring Adams and Treasurer Ken Gasser during his internship to ensure a seamless transition.
A 1999 graduate of Chippewa, Adams brings over a decade of experience in educational leadership. With a background that includes roles such as high school principal and director of operations across various school districts, he has consistently focused on fostering positive school culture and strengthening community relationships.
Adams holds an Ohio superintendent license and a master’s degree in education administration.

I’m excited to continue working alongside our staff, families, and partners to create opportunities for students to grow, lead and succeed − both in school and beyond.”
