Coshocton man strikes utility pole in pre-dawn crash on Otsego Avenue

COSHOCTON − A Coshocton man’s vehicle went over an embankment and struck a utility pole during an early morning crash on Otsego Avenue.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office reported the incident occurred at approximately 5:39 a.m. July 8 in the 2100 block of Otsego Ave.

Authorities said in an announcement that Robert Selders, 55, of Coshocton, was traveling south when he lost control of his vehicle and went off the left side of the road and over a small embankment. The vehicle then came to rest after striking a utility pole.

Selders was transported to Genesis Hospital in Zanesville for treatment of unknown injuries. Assisting on scene were Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services, Coshocton Fire Department and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
