Coastal Local Seafood, the Columbus company that brings thousands of pounds of fresh seafood to central Ohio every week, is to close its oyster bar, restaurant and market in Dublin.
The last day of business for COLO Market & Oyster Bar’s location inside North Market Bridge Park will be Jan. 11, according to owner Ian Holmes. It’s a bittersweet way to start 2026, Homes told The Dispatch, but he said the market’s North Market Downtown location will continue.
It’s actually expanding a bit, from 10 stools to 14 for its countertop dining service, Holmes said. Employees from Dublin are moving to the Downtown location as well, he said.
Coastal Local Seafood started in 2013. In addition to the retail seafood market and menu that includes chowder and bisque, fish and chips, lobster rolls and other sandwiches, the business also supplies seafood to more than 40 Columbus restaurants.
COLO was one of North Market Bridge Park’s original tenants when it opened in 2020.
