Cleveland Charge will begin next season with new look, logo honoring city and Public Hall

The Cleveland Charge is making a change.

The Cavaliers’ NBA G-League affiliate is overhauling its logo in what the team calls the most significant evolution in its 14-year history.

The logo emphasizes the team’s connection to the Cavs and its homecourt at Public Hall. The new design is a collaboration between Rock Entertainment Group and Supper Works, an agency that specializes in brand design and strategy.

“We are thrilled to usher in a new era of Charge basketball with this bold brand evolution as we continue to witness the incredible growth of the Charge here in Cleveland,” Charge President Rocco Maragas said in a statement. “Becoming part of the Northeast Ohio Community has been a source of immense pride for us. This latest chapter in our brand’s journey deepens our roots in Cleveland and highlights the strength of our NBA G League partnership with the Cavaliers.”

New Charge merchandise will be available June 24 starting at the team shop (ChargeTeamShop.com) and a special shopping event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 28 at Center Court Pinecrest with chances to win prizes ranging from autographed merchandise and Cavs tickets while perusing the collection made of assorted apparel.
