Caitlyn Carter, Harrison Drvenkar are April 13-19 Akron-Area Athletes of Week

Athletes from Tallmadge and Revere high schools won the voting for the Akron-Area High School Athlete of the Week for April 13-19.

Caitlyn Carter is the girls winner and Harrison Drvenkar wins for the boys. Carter, who plays softball for Tallmadge, received 54.69% of the votes cast. Drvenkar, who competes in track and field for Revere, received 76.14% of the votes cast.

Caitlyn Carter, Tallmadge softball

Pitched a five-inning no-hitter with 11 strikeouts in a 14-0 win over Barberton.

Harrison Drvenkar, Revere track and field

Set a school record in the long jump by leaping 22 feet, 9½ inches at the Walsh Jesuit John Hasenstab Warrior Relays.
