BELLVILLE ― The Bellville Street Fair/Agricultual Society has changed the Friday show location and parade route for the famous Budweiser Clydesdale team after a meeting with the Budweiser Clydesdale team.
The event is still 4-6 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Bellville Street Fair. The Hitching Ceremony will be held next to Elzy Milling and Trade, 25 E. Ogle St.
“We will be closing East Street during this event between Hines and Huron streets,” the post said. “We will then proceed with the parade down to Bellville Elementary School. Once leaving the school the Clydesdales will head to the The River Rock (the bar/restaurant next to the Dairy Belle). After leaving The River Rock, we will bring them around the west side of the detour and come into the center of the fair on Ohio 97 (at Main Street). They will stop in the middle of the fair under the stop light (by the gazebo). They will provide an opportunity for everyone to see the horses without having to leave the fair. Once leaving the fair, the team will proceed back to Elzy for the unhitching ceremony.”
