Cameron and Nathan Frick met in Deerfield Beach, Florida, while Nathan was on a work trip and Cameron was visiting family during her college winter break. They matched on Tinder, had their first date on the beach in her hometown and spent an inseparable two weeks together before dating long-distance for four years. It was on another beach—this time in Costa Rica—that Nathan surprised Cameron with the proposal. “It was completely unexpected, but nonetheless absolutely perfect,” she says.
Their wedding included personal touches like a close friend officiating the wedding, their loved ones baking the desserts and a surprise, this time courtesy of Cameron—getting Brutus the Buckeye to make an appearance.
The couple now live in Youngstown with their dog, Bruce, where Nathan is the golf course superintendent of the Youngstown Country Club, and Cameron is a school speech language pathologist.
