The Fremont Community Amphitheater will remain busy with events through the end of August.
On Aug. 16, from 5-10 p.m. is the long-awaited Rotary Club of Fremont Blues, Brews and Brats event. This is a ticketed event for ages 21 and up. Visit fremontrotaryclub.org for more information.

Aug. 21 is the next installment of Historical Talks: History of Sardis Birchard withMike Gilbert. The free talk begins at 6:30 p.m., so bring something to sit on and enjoy learningabout Fremont history.
Free movie on Aug. 26
At 9 p.m. on Aug. 26 will be the second Paramount Movie Night of the month. Downtown Fremont will be showing the classic “Harry & The Hendersons” at sunset. There will be a bounce house forchildren before the event and popcorn is available by donation, provided by ParamountCinemas. Bring blankets and chairs.
Downtown Fremont and The Sandusky County Health District are teaming upwith the Fremont Community Amphitheater to present “Overdose Awareness Day” on Aug. 28.
This event will feature Naloxone training and distribution, local agency resources, family fun,raffles and a free T-shirt to the first 100 people. There will be live entertainment from MattKeegan. The last event of August will be the second annual Fremont Country Fest sponsored by Fremont Federal Credit Union and will feature The House Band and Uptown Country. This event is free runs 2-5 p.m., Aug. 31.
