Boom! For the second time in as many days, Ohio State has landed a verbal pledge from another defensive lineman. One day after landing four-star defensive lineman Damari Simeon, Cameron Brickle II has given his commitment to wear the Scarlet and Gray.
A Pennsylvania native, the three-star recruit chose the Buckeyes over Maryland, Florida State, and Penn State. The Nittany Lions were seen as the biggest threat to OSU, but ultimately, Larry Johnson was able to secure the young man’s commitment.
Brickle has had an interesting high school journey, where he started his high school career at Malvern Prep in Philadelphia. He then transferred to Santa Margarita Catholic in California for his sophomore year before returning to Malvern Prep for his junior year. He’ll finish out his high school career at IMG Academy in Florida.
Brickle is listed as the No. 62 overall defensive lineman according to 247Sports composite rankings.
Brickle becomes the 19th recruit pledged to the 2026 class, which is ranked No. 5 overall according to 247Sports composite rankings.
