The Port Clinton Lighthouse sits on the southern shore of Lake Erie at the mouth of the Portage River in the Port Clinton Waterworks Park. The original 1896 lighthouse has been fully restored and is maintained by the Port Clinton Lighthouse Conservancy.
Waterworks Park was recently improved by The Friends of Port Clinton City Parks, the City of Port Clinton and the Port Clinton Lighthouse Conservancy, which funded the building of a new restroom facility, adjacent to the lighthouse and the boathouse. It includes a comfort station, with restrooms and a shower facility.
The Boathouse sits on Derby Pond, which has a paved pathway wrapping around it.
