Bengals player smoothly answers Dexter Lawrence trade question

The Cincinnati Bengals making a splash with a trade for Dexter Lawrence of the New York Giants is about as unlikely as it gets.

Still, that doesn’t mean it isn’t good conversation fodder for a quiet part of the NFL calendar.

And that includes Bengals players themselves, too.

During an appearance on Kay Adams’ show, Bengals offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. found himself asked if he’d like to see the team make a trade for Lawrence. Always the professional, Brown responded about as one might expect.

“I think it would be great,” Brown said. “He definitely would make our football team better. And to be honest, it’s not a lot of teams he wouldn’t make better. He’s a special talent.”

There were some other great nuggets in there during Brown’s interview with Adams, including how he acted as his own agent while doing his contract extension with the Bengals recently.

But even Bengals players can’t escape the trade speculation questions, no matter how unlikely.
