The Cincinnati Bengals are the latest team to end minicamp early this offseason.
Some teams have called off the last stage of offseason work before the summer break due to things like perfect attendance.
For Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, it was all about knocking out a checklist.
After calling off the rest of minicamp in the middle of the week, Taylor told reporters that they leaned into more Phase 2 time than in the past and that he feels the team hit all of its goals for this part of the program.
Bengals minicamp was set to end around Thursday, so a bit of a small reward for players from the coaching staff for a job well done. The gauntlet of training camp awaits next month.
