Glass in Flight Exhibit at Kingwood Center, Saturday through Sept. 7, Kingwood Center Gardens, 50 N. Trimble Road, Mansfield. The exhibit is free with paid admission to the gardens. The exhibit features sculptures celebrating pollinators and the beauty of the natural world; some are never-before-seen pieces, including a new monarch butterfly and bats with six-foot wingspans. Over 40 stunning sculptures will create arches and groupings or be showcased as individual pieces. Artist Alex Heveri, a Tucson, Arizona sculptor, has been creating large-scale steel and luminousDalle de verre glass sculptures for over 30 years. Ashland Cancer Crusaders Relay For Life event, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, Ashland County Fairgrounds. This annual event raises money for the American Cancer Society and the fight against cancer. Activities during the event will include a car show and a cornhole tournament starting at 11 a.m., with both registrations beginning at 10 a.m. A silent auction will be from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. and a vendor show will also be ongoing during the entire time. There will also be food trucks. Esbenshade Concessions, Looney Lemon, Puglisi Pizza and Crumble Creations will be there supporting the cause.
