Put your brain in airplane mode for a weekend of jet-fueled excitement as the Columbus Air Show Presented by ScottsMiracle-Gro takes to the skiy for another year.
Aviation addicts will soar to new heights of amazement while watching dynamic military demos and aerobatics when the show lands June 19-21 at Rickenbacker International Airport.
The world-renowned U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds demo team will return to Columbus to headline along with the U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team.
The Thunderbirds last headlined in 2024, when they also chose the Columbus show as Civilian Show Site of the Year at the International Council of Air Shows.
Additionally, the Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds will mark two milestones: their first visit to Columbus and the first international team to perform at the air show.
However, it will be one of the last chances to see the team’s CT-114 fleet before the Royal Canadian Air Force transitions to a new aircraft.
A new attraction will bring even more sky-high excitement to the first two nights of the air show, which will modify its traditional format for the special event.
Gates will open at 1 p.m. June 19-20, with performances beginning at 3:30 p.m. At dusk, the show will go out with a bang, as a pyrotechnics and fireworks display lights up the night. Gates will close at 9 p.m.
The air show will return to a normal schedule on June 21, opening at 9 a.m. Flying performances will go from noon to 4 p.m. and gates will close at 5 p.m.
Another highlight will be the ScottsMiracle-Gro Aviation Showcase, a curated collection of modern and historic aircraft representing all periods of U.S. military aviation. Go to columbusairshow.com/attractions for the full lineup.
The air show will also offer opportunities to explore interactive exhibits, meet pilots, shop, eat and enjoy activities for all ages.
General admission is $49.54-$60.25 for ages 16 and older; prices increase as tickets are sold. Children 15 and younger get in free. Discounts are available for veterans, active-duty service members and retired military.
Premium box seating costs $60.25, and all ages require tickets.
Parking, which must be purchased in advance, costs $22.76-$28.12 general and $134.19 for bus/RV parking.
