6th annual A Run to Remember 5K and 1 Mile Family Walk takes place Sunday in Yoctangee

(This story has been updated as an earlier version had incorrect information)

Haunted Mountain swoops back into Chillicothe this Thursday and Sugarloaf Mountain Amphitheatre is trading in history for horror. The Scioto Society, the same folks who bring us Tecumseh! each summer, are behind the transformation that turns the mountain into October fun. This year’s lineup includes a Mothman-inspired play It Flies By Night, a haunted trail, free outdoor movies, scavenger hunts, an escape room, and tomahawk throwing. Add in concessions and the gift shop and you have yourself a complete evening of fun while supporting the arts in Ross County. For tickets and more information plus a lineup of the free movie titles, go to hauntedmountain.org.

Sunday

The 6th annual A Run to Remember 5K and 1 Mile Family Walk takes place Saturday morning in Yoctangee Park, honoring babies taken too soon through pregnancy or infant loss.
