A 19-year-old woman is accused of shooting and killing someone behind the wheel, prosecutors said.
Destiny Newman was booked into Hamilton County jail on Feb. 12 just after 1 p.m. Hamilton County prosecutors said she shot the driver of a vehicle on Feb. 4 around 2 p.m. in Hartwell after taking property from him, according to police and court records.
The vehicle crashed and the driver died from his injuries, records state.
It is not immediately clear where the shooting occurred or who the driver was.
Documents indicate others were associated with the shooting, but initial filings did not state how many people or specify their involvement.
Newman’s attorney wasn’t immediately available to answer questions.
A Cincinnati police spokesperson did not immediately respond to a phone call or text to discuss the arrest.
