CHILLICOTHE – The high school spring sports season is well underway. It’s your chance to vote for the Chillicothe Gazette High School Athlete of the Week.
Fans are encouraged to vote in the Gazette Fan Poll to determine who they think had the most outstanding performance. Fans can vote as often as allowed.
The poll will run from 6 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Friday. The winner will be revealed soon after the survey concludes.
Piketon’s Kenley Maynard was last week’s winner.
Here is the list of athletes:
Aubrey Caudy, Westfall: She fired a no-hitter, striking out 10 in five innings, and went 3-for-4 with a triple and 3 RBIs.
Maddy Tuttle, Unioto: She went 4-for-4, including a home run and two RBIs against Piketon
AJ Pluta, Westfall: He went 3-for-3, including a double and two RBIs in a win against Paint Valley.
Jaxon Zickafoose, Unioto: He went 3-for-4, including a double, scored three runs, and had two RBIs in a win over Piketon.
Rick Hanley, Westfall: He went 4-for-4, had two doubles and five RBIs in a win against Madison Plains.
Jo Jett, Adena: She hit two home runs, had three RBIs, and scored three runs in a win over Huntington.
Jeran Wilson, Zane Trace: He had three hits, including a triple and four RBIs, in a win against Adena.
Kaedyn Baker, Huntington: He had two hits, including a home run and two RBIs, against Westfall.
