National Weather Service issued a heat advisory, the Westchester County health department said, Friday, July 25, with heat and humidity expected to make it feel as high as 105 degrees outside. The department shared the state website that lists cooling centers people can go to in counties’ villages, cities and towns.
Here are many of the cooling centers in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam counties, based on information the state listing contains and some posted by municipalities. A more comprehensive listing is available on the state’s website.
