The 2025 high school football season is fast approaching and a new crop of players will become stars in Section V.
Your vote will predict who will be the best football player in Class AA entering the 2025 season as presented by Faber Builders. While classifications remain in flux, the Democrat and Chronicle took a look at the top returning players based on the latest information on how classifications are expected to look this fall. Right now, it looks like Class AA includes Aquinas, Fairport, McQuaid, Penfield, Pittsford, Rush-Henrietta and University Prep.
The nominees were selected if they are returning All-Greater Rochester football players or members of the 2024 Section V All-Stars first-team.
The poll will remain open until 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, and you can vote more than once for your favorite. The winner will be announced the Monday, Aug. 4.
