The Varsity 845 girls softball players of the week polls are online for April 27-May 3. Information was utilized on reports gathered by Varsity 845 and nominations. Coaches are encouraged to provide their game reports in order for athletes to be chosen; they may also nominate one player from their team by Sunday afternoon.
One athlete per school is allowed per week. A poll winner will be ineligible for the following week.
Madison Gravel of Newburgh (large schools) and Anna lawless of Burke Catholic (small schools) won the polls conducted last week.
Go to RecordOnline.com/sports/high-school and vote as often as you like until Sunday, May 10, at 11 p.m. The winners will be announced each week on the @Varsity845 account on X/Twitter.

Madison Auger, Wallkill
She had a single, double and RBI as the Panthers fell to Cornwall 7-6 on April 29.
Vienna Conklin, Washingtonville
She had a triple, two singles and two RBI as the Wizards beat O’Neill 17-1 on April 28.
Keira Filip, Minisink Valley
She had a homer and double as the Warriors beat Monticello 13-1 on April 27. The next day she had three hits and seven RBI as the Warriors thumped Roosevelt 19-1.
Addison Freiberger, Goshen
She had a double, homer, three RBI and fanned six for the win as the Gladiators beat Minisink Valley 8-1 on April 30. On May 1, she won a no-hitter, fanning 13, adding two home runs in a 17-0 decision over Monticello.
Emily Gulick, Warwick
She homered as the Wildcats beat Monroe-Woodbury 3-2 on April 27. On May 1, she had two singles and RBI in a 12-1 win over Washingtonville.
Alana Hayes, Cornwall
She had two singles in the Dragons’ 5-1 loss to Goshen on April 27. On May 1, she added a single, double and three RBI in a 9-1 win over Kingston.
Sarai Henriquez, Middletown
She had a double and two RBI as the Bears bowed to Kingston 13-2 on April 27.
Deanna Murphy, Monroe-Woodbury
She had a two-run triple as the Crusaders blanked Kingston 2-0 on April 29.
Makenzie Saracino, Kingston
She had two singles and a double as the Tigers beat Middletown 13-2 on April 27.
Madison Taggart, Monticello
She had a single and fanned nine for the win as the Panthers beat Rockland 12-6 on April 29.

She had a triple and fanned 10 in the Bears’ 2-1 loss to Chapel Field on April 27. On May 1, she won a three-hitter, fanning 11, adding two singles and a triple in a 5-3 win over Chapel Field.
Emily Cogswell, Saugerties
She had a triple and solo homer as the Sawyers nipped Rondout Valley 4-3 on April 27.
Kiera Del Salto, Marlboro
She had three hits and two RBI as the Dukes bowed to Arlington 6-4 on April 28.
Allison Froelich, Rockland
She had two hits as the Wolves bowed to Liberty 19-4 on April 27.
Sydney Furler, Eldred
She had three hits in the Yellowjackets’ 5-3 win over Chester on April 27. She had two hits in an 11-6 win over Liberty on May 1.
Harper Melay, Chester
She fanned 11 in the Hambletonians’ 5-3 loss to Eldred on April 27. On May 1, she beat Burke 3-1 with 11 strikeouts.
Maddy Stewart, Liberty
She had four hits and two RBI as the Redhawks beat Rockland 19-4 on April 27.
Gabby Torre, New Paltz
She won a three-hitter, fanning eight, as the Huguenots blanked Wallkill 9-0 on April 28.
Meghan Winter, Chapel Field
She had a single, double and fanned 13 for the win as the Lions beat Tri-Valley 2-1 on April 27.
