The Varsity 845 girls softball players of the week polls are online for April 13-19. Information was utilized on reports gathered by Varsity 845 and nominations. Coaches are encouraged to provide their game reports in order for athletes to be chosen; they may also nominate one player from their team by Sunday afternoon.
One athlete per school is allowed per week. A poll winner will be ineligible for the following week.
Madison Gravel and Samantha Williams of Newburgh (large schools) and Anna Lawless and Sofia Ortiz of Burke Catholic (small schools) won the double polls conducted last week.
Go to RecordOnline.com/sports/high-school and vote as often as you like until Sunday, April 26, at 11 p.m. The winners will be announced each week on the @Varsity845 account on X/Twitter.

Isabella Brelesky, Monroe-Woodbury
She fanned eight as the Crusaders bowed to Newburgh 5-4 on April 15. She beat Roosevelt 10-3 on April 18, posting a triple and four strikeouts.
Abby Crantz, Kingston
A two-run homer was her 100th career hit as the Tigers beat Warwick 7-2 on April 17.
Keira Filip, Minisink Valley
She had two hits and a home-run saving catch as the Warriors bowed to Goshen 16-1 on April 15.
Addison Freiberger, Goshen
She hit a two-run homer, single and got the win as the Gladiators beat Washingtonville 16-2 on April 13. On April 15, she won a five-hitter over Minisink Valley 16-1. … or Sophia Springer, Goshen … She had a two-run homer, two singles and six RBI as the Gladiators beat Minisink Valley 16-1 on April 15.
Samantha Hall, Valley Central
She had a double, triple and five RBI as the Vikings beat Monticello 12-0 on April 13.
Emma Hunt, Wallkill
She fanned 10 as the Panthers lost to Saugerties 6-2 on April 15.
Avery Ogden, Pine Bush
She fanned 15 in a one-hitter as the Bushmen beat Monroe-Woodbury 7-0 on April 13. She had an RBI in a 5-0 win over Kingston on April 15.
Violett Pruitt, Cornwall
She had a single and double as the Dragons bowed to Warwick 7-1 on April 13. She added an RBI double in a 4-3 win over Newburgh on April 17.
Bella Rollo, Washingtonville
She hit a two-run homer as the Wizards fell to Goshen 16-2 on April 13.
Madison Taggart, Monticello
She won a three-hitter, fanning 12, and added two singles and two RBI as the Panthers beat Liberty 12-3 on April 18; she also won the Rockland tourney title game against the host, fanning 13.
Meghan Tennant, Warwick
She won a four-hitter, fanning eight, as the Wildcats beat Cornwall 7-1 on April 13.
Samantha Williams, Newburgh
She won a three-hitter, fanning 11, as the Goldbacks beat Middletown 14-2 on April 13. She got the win and fanned six in a 5-4 win over Monroe-Woodbury on April 15.

She had a hit, RBI and fanned 16 as the Bears lost to Burke 11-3 on April 13. She added two hits in a 15-10 decision over O’Neill on April 17.
Alaina Conrad, Saugerties
She fanned five for the win, adding a home run and three RBI as the Sawyers beat F.D. Roosevelt 16-0 on April 13. On April 15, she won a six-hitter, fanning nine, as Saugerties beat Wallkill 6-2, and she earned the 18-3 win over Red Hook on April 16.
Brooke Diaz, Chester
She had a double, two singles and three RBI as the Hambletonians downed Liberty 26-5 on April 13.
Madison Braren, New Paltz
Her second hit was a walk-off RBI single as the Huguenots nipped Rondout Valley 11-10 on April 15. She had two singles, a three-run homer and four RBI as the Huguenots beat Roosevelt 14-2 on April 16.
Violet Brienza, Highland
She had three hits and two RBI as the Huskies bowed to Spackenkill 5-4 on April 16.
Olivia Gonzalez, Eldred
She had a homer, double, two singles and seven RBI as the Yellowjackets beat Rockland 23-1 on April 15.
Sal Hellerer, Sullivan West
She had two singles and two RBI as the Bulldogs beat O’Neill 17-2 on April 13.
Peyton Kastanis, Rondout Valley
She had three hits and two RBI as the Ganders lost to New Paltz 11-10 on April 15. She had a single, double and three RBI as the Ganders beat Lourdes 9-2 on April 16.
Gianna Dutcher, Rockland
She won a four-hitter and added two RBI as the Wolves beat South Kortright 13-1 on April 18.
Sophie Lindberg, James I. O’Neill
She had two singles and an RBI in a 15-10 loss to Tri-Valley on April 17.
Sam Maleck, Marlboro
She had four doubles, four RBI and got the win, with 17 strikeouts, as the Dukes beat Red Hook 8-0 on April 15. She had two hits and got the win, fanning 13, as the Dukes beat Wallkill 4-0 on April 16. She tossed a two-hit win over Goshen, fanning 15, on April 18.
Morgan Owen, Burke Catholic
She had a triple, single and three RBI as the Eagles downed Tri-Valley 11-3 on April 13.
Daniella Quintanella, Chapel Field
She had two hits for the Lions in a 7-6 loss to Eldred on April 13.
Nevaeh Ramos, Ellenville
She had three hits, five RBI and earned the win, with 10 strikeouts, as the Blue Devils beat Webutuck 16-10 on April 15.
Alabama Stankewicz, Port Jervis
She had three singles and two RBI for the Raiders in a 19-0 win over Beacon on April 13.
Maddy Stewart, Liberty
She had four hits and four RBI as the Redhawks beat Beacon 18-12 on April 15.
