It’s not a must win, but the Buffalo Bills really need a win in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons
The Bills (4-1) head to Mercedes-Benz Stadium where they will clash with the Falcons (2-2) on “Monday Night Football.”
By then, we will know some outcomes around the NFL and AFC East… the team weighing heavy here is the New England Patriots (3-2).
The Patriots visit the 1-4 New Orleans Saints in Week 6. A winnable game. That puts pressure on Buffalo to win in Atlanta to try and keep their lead in the AFC East.
Even more so, the Patriots’ upcoming three games are all against bottom-feeders. After the Saints, the Pats face two more 1-4 teams in the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns.
All that said, the Bills go into their bye and then have a favorable matchup against the Carolina Panthers (2-3) after their week off.
But the week off does allow the Patriots to potentially gain ground.
A win in Atlanta would prevent that… or at least slow it down.
