Two Rochester residents were injured after several dogs attacked their owners Saturday morning, according to the Rochester Police Department.
Officers responded around 7:45 a.m. to the 100 block of Strong Street for a report of multiple dogs attacking people at the location.
Victims taken to Strong Memorial Hospital
Police said officers found a 52-year-old man and 67-year-old woman, both city residents, with multiple injuries from the dogs.
Both victims were taken by American Medical Response to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Animal Control removes dogs
Rochester Animal Services responded to the scene and assisted in removing the adult dogs involved in the attack.
Animal Control officials will follow up with the owners as part of the investigation.
